Evaluation
My Girlfriend's Special Place is a visual novel that launched on March 13, 2023 as the first entry in the "Special Place" series by developer feng. The store description explicitly states "This is the first game in the series!" — confirming it was designed as a standalone entry within a multi-game series, not a platform for ongoing DLC or post-launch content additions.
The developer's news posts confirm the series structure: a second entry (My Little Sister's Special Place) and a third entry (My Academy's Special Place) followed as separate games on Steam. A November 2023 announcement and December 2023 release post both explicitly describe My Academy's Special Place as "the last entry" and "the final entry in the series," signaling that the broader series concluded in December 2023.
This game itself launched as a complete, self-contained visual novel with no DLC, no season pass, no post-launch content updates, and no roadmap for additions. The news posts on this game's page are promotional announcements for other titles in the series, not updates to this game's content. A December 2025 post promotes an entirely separate feng title (A Maiden's Serenade), unrelated to this game's content.
The game shipped as a finished product on its release date and has received no post-launch content.

About this game
Story
One day, our hero is headed home from Akihabara when he's mistaken for a molester. The person accusing him is his childhood friend, Fuyuka Akiyoshi. When they were both children, she was a well-dressed and lovely young rich girl, and the idol of the class. She was the apple of every boy's eye, but it was impossible to get close to her, our hero included. But our hero was in love with her. He has memories of when he was younger and first felt that way.
Before long, they ended up parting ways due to going to different middle schools. Our hero thinks that she might have been his first love. He didn't actually molest her, but all she will say to him is: "If you want me to forgive you, then become my butler!" These two recently reunited people end up in an unusual relationship as their unusual story begins once again...
