NAGAISAN launched on September 11, 2024 as a short urban legend adventure game. On October 2, 2025, the developer posted announcing that after the Steam Autumn Sale, an additional scenario update for NAGAISAN would be released. Just four days later, on October 6, 2025, a content update was published adding new scenarios and achievements to the main game. However, the timing is ambiguous: the October 2 post says the update would come *after* the sale, while the October 6 update dropped during or very close to the sale period. It is unclear whether the October 6 update is the one that was promised, or whether a further update was still intended. The developer has not posted any communications since October 6, 2025, leaving this question unresolved. Given that an explicit content promise was made and its fulfillment cannot be confirmed, the game's content status remains uncertain.
