Nancy Drew®: The Haunting of Castle Malloy

Nancy Drew®: The Haunting of Castle Malloy is a self-contained adventure game that launched on July 17, 2009 as part of HeR Interactive's long-running Nancy Drew PC series. The store description presents a complete, standalone mystery with no mention of additional content, DLC, expansions, or ongoing updates. There are no DLC listings and no developer announcements of future content of any kind. The only post-launch developer activity on record is a March 14, 2025 bug fix update addressing a screen flickering issue on Windows 11 — a maintenance patch that shows HeR Interactive is still keeping older games in their catalog functional on modern hardware, but does not indicate any new content is planned. The developer's note ("we're so happy that these games continue to bring joy on hardware so far ahead of the time these stories were written") further reinforces that this is a legacy title being maintained, not actively developed with new content. This game shipped as a finished, standalone product in 2009 and has remained complete ever since.
