Nancy Drew®: The Shattered Medallion

Nancy Drew®: The Shattered Medallion launched on Steam on March 6, 2017 as a standalone mystery adventure game. It received one piece of post-launch content — a soundtrack DLC released on October 4, 2018 — which appears to be the extent of planned additions. No expansions, story DLC, or content roadmaps have ever been announced. The developer, HeR Interactive, has not made any statements about future content for this title. The most recent developer activity is a Windows 11 compatibility bug fix posted on March 14, 2025, which resolved a screen flickering issue on modern hardware. This is a maintenance patch rather than new content, and the post's tone ("we're so happy that these games continue to bring joy on hardware so far ahead of the time these stories were written") suggests HeR Interactive views the game as a legacy title being maintained for compatibility, not one in active content development. This game follows HeR Interactive's longstanding model of releasing individual Nancy Drew mystery games as self-contained, complete products — not as platforms for ongoing content. The Shattered Medallion shipped as a finished game and has remained so.
