Evaluation

NBA 2K17 is no longer available for purchase on Steam — there are no active purchase options, meaning the game has been removed from sale. This is standard practice for the annual NBA 2K series, where older entries are typically delisted as new editions release each year. The game launched on September 20, 2016, and received a handful of post-launch patches in October 2016, with the last recorded developer communication being Patch 4 on October 12, 2016. These patches focused on bug fixes and minor gameplay adjustments. No major content updates, DLC releases, or developer communications about future content were ever posted. The developer has made no statements about ongoing or planned content since that final patch.
