Evaluation
Necrosphere launched on August 31, 2017 as a self-contained hardcore metroidvania. The developer shipped a handful of patches in the weeks after launch to fix bugs and add quality-of-life options, then released one meaningful update on October 26, 2017: the Halloween Update (v1.0.5), which unlocked the "Terry's Dream" bonus level for all players. That update represented the full delivery of the game's promised content — including the bonus level already referenced in the store description.
The last developer communication of any kind was a July 9, 2018 post inviting players to join a Discord server, where Cat Nigiri mentioned discussing future game ideas such as "Keen, Scrash and a couple of other ideas." This post was about the studio's broader future plans, not about additional content for Necrosphere, and no subsequent updates or announcements for this game have appeared. There is no announced upcoming content, no unreleased DLC, and no sustained post-launch content cycle to suggest more is on the way. The game shipped as a deliberately compact, complete experience and has remained unchanged since October 2017.
Evidence
Halloween Update (v1.0.5) unlocked Terry's Dream bonus level for all players — the final piece of announced content for the game.
Cat Nigiri's last communication was a Discord invite post mentioning future game concepts (Keen, Scrash), with no mention of additional Necrosphere content. This was the studio's final post for this game.

About this game
A hardcore, bite-sized metroidvania game you control WITH ONLY TWO BUTTONS!
Necrosphere is where you go when you die, regardless of being good or bad. You don’t get to see other people around there, nor you have anything to do besides playing the waiting game -- alone, forever.
As soon as Agent Terry Cooper -- fatally injured in an ambush -- hits the Necrosphere, he learns that a portal can take him back to the world of the living, and his quest to escape the afterlife is set.
