NEKO-MIMI SWEET HOUSEMATES Vol. 1 released on April 8, 2022 as a kinetic (single-route, linear) visual novel. The game is the first installment in a multi-volume series. On June 9, 2026, the developer announced that Volume 2 is arriving on Steam on June 22, 2026 — the same day as today's assessment date — continuing the story with returning characters and a new character named Kuro. While Vol. 1 itself is a self-contained release, the series is actively continuing, meaning players who want the full story should be aware that follow-up content exists in a separate product.
