家有大貓 Nekojishi

Nekojishi is a free-to-play visual novel that launched on November 12, 2017. The game received its only major content release on April 20, 2018, when Studio Klondike shipped two paid DLC packs: the "Nekojishi Expansion Pack: A Sunny Day" (a new epilogue story chapter) and the "Nekojishi Voice Pack - Chinese" (full Chinese voice acting). All three DLC items — including the Original Soundtrack released December 19, 2017 — are fully released with no unreleased items listed on the store. Since April 2018, updates to the base game have been limited to script revisions, localization quality improvements, and a soundtrack audio quality upgrade in August 2023. These are maintenance and polish changes, not new content additions. Studio Klondike announced a direct sequel, Nekojishi: Lin & Partners, via a Kickstarter campaign in March 2020. Sale posts from mid-2023 through early 2025 reference this sequel as still "in the works," but those statements are about a separate, distinct game — not about additional content coming to Nekojishi itself. The base game is referenced in these posts only as a starting point for new players ahead of the sequel. No new DLC, updates, or content additions for Nekojishi have been announced or hinted at. Nekojishi's own content cycle concluded with the April 2018 DLC releases. The game is complete as a standalone experience.
