Evaluation
Neverending Nightmares launched on September 26, 2014 as a self-contained psychological horror game with a branching narrative and three endings. The store description presents it as a complete experience with no mention of additional content or updates. The developer's post-launch communications from 2015 focused entirely on a new, separate project (Devastated Dreams), describing it as a "spiritual successor" — which signals the studio had moved on from Neverending Nightmares rather than continuing to develop it. There has been no announcement of DLC, expansions, or future updates for this game. The last developer communication of any kind dates to October 28, 2015, over a decade ago. The game launched as a finished product and has received no post-launch content beyond minor bug fixes.

About this game
Neverending Nightmares is a psychological horror game inspired by the developer's actual battle with mental illness. In the game, you take on the role of Thomas who awakens from a terrible nightmare only to find that he is still dreaming. As he descends deeper through the layers of hellish dreamscapes, he must hide from horrifying apparitions and outrun his inner demons. He must discover which of the horrors he encounters are a manifestation of his own psychological state and figure out what reality will be when he finally wakes up.
