New Star Soccer 5 launched on September 27, 2012. The only developer communication on record is a patch (v1.15) released on July 27, 2019, which included gameplay tweaks and bug fixes. That post notably thanks players for their "enormous patience with this update," suggesting it had been a long time coming even then. There have been no developer posts, announcements, or updates of any kind since July 27, 2019 — a period of nearly seven years with complete silence. There is no unreleased DLC, no roadmap, no announced future content, and no post-launch history of major content expansions. The game appears to have been a finished product at launch that received only occasional maintenance patches. The 2019 patch represents the last known development activity, and given the years of silence since, the game is effectively complete.
