NIDUS launched on February 19, 2024 as a complete arcade experience. In the days following launch, the developer (Caleb Wood, a solo dev) posted four updates: two bug fixes and two feature patches, all focused on stability and leaderboard improvements. The last of these was posted on February 28, 2024. There have been no developer communications of any kind since that date, and no DLC, expansions, or future content have ever been announced. The store description presents the game as a self-contained product with a fixed set of features. The post-launch activity was consistent with a solo developer tidying up a freshly shipped game — not the beginning of an ongoing content program. With no roadmap, no unreleased content, and no posts since February 28, 2024, the game appears to have shipped as a finished product and has been content-complete since launch.
