Night Shift launched out of Early Access on February 23, 2015. In the week before release, developer Brandon Brizzi explicitly stated: "The additional levels and ending means that the game is done. You can play it front to back and have a satisfying experience. I'm not planning on adding any more content." The launch post confirmed this, describing the game as "complete" and summarizing everything added during Early Access. The developer indicated he would continue fixing bugs if any arise, but made clear that no new content was planned. The game launched as a finished product with no post-launch content cycle, and there have been no announcements of additional content since release.
