九州：商旅（Nine Provinces: Caravan）

Nine Provinces: Caravan (九州：商旅) launched into Early Access in December 2019 and reached its official 1.0 release on February 26, 2021. After launch, the developer shipped one substantial major update — the "Nine Provinces Bank" (钱庄) system — on January 23, 2022, which the developer had previewed in an announcement post on January 5, 2022. The developer has been transparent throughout about the game's future. In the April 2021 post (NEWS-6), they explicitly stated: "the game is now the official version — because of staffing constraints, future updates are not guaranteed; this might be the last update (though bugs will still be attempted to be fixed)." The January 2022 bank update post (NEWS-4) reiterated the same stance: updates would be "casual/as-inspiration-strikes," and confirmed that a sequel was not in the plans at that time. After January 2022, developer attention clearly shifted toward a new game. By July 2024 (NEWS-3), the developer formally announced the successor title, 《九州：立志》(Nine Provinces: Ambition), and in November 2024 (NEWS-1), that new game launched into Early Access. The store description for Nine Provinces: Caravan now directs players to the new game's Steam page, reinforcing that this title has concluded its content lifecycle. There have been no major content updates to Nine Provinces: Caravan since January 23, 2022, and no developer communications suggesting any further content is planned for this game. The developer's own statements and subsequent actions — launching a successor — are consistent with this game being a completed, finished product.
