Ninja Hanrei

Ninja Hanrei launched into Early Access on November 29, 2020, with a store page explicitly promising future updates including more skins, levels, and worlds. The developer (a solo developer operating as DynKen) posted a handful of updates through 2020 and 2021, and on June 1, 2022 released a level editor as a new feature. That June 2022 post, however, also contained a candid note that the developer was struggling with motivation and intended to take a break from active development — they committed only to fixing major bugs for the time being. Since June 1, 2022, there have been no further communications, patches, or announcements of any kind. The game remains in Early Access, has never reached a 1.0 release, and the originally promised content additions have not been delivered. Given the absence of any developer activity since June 1, 2022, and the explicit mention of low motivation at the time of that last post, it is unclear whether development is continuing.
