Evaluation

Nonentity Galaxy launched on February 4, 2026. In the weeks following launch, Brick-Up Studio shipped multiple feature patches and bug fixes (versions 1.6.6.11 through 1.6.6.25), adding quality-of-life features like one-click item transfer and story replay, alongside balance and stability improvements. On March 20, 2026, the studio launched full Steam Workshop support — a substantial feature addition that had been in active development since launch. In their one-month anniversary post on March 4, 2026, the developer explicitly stated: "But this is only the beginning. The company management (the dev team) is busy preparing the next steps," and committed to "keep expanding with more playable content." This is a direct developer statement of intent to continue growing the game. The last developer communication on record is from March 20, 2026 — now approximately six months ago as of September 24, 2026. The game has only one major content milestone post-launch (the Workshop launch), so there is no multi-point cadence to establish a typical release interval. The developer's own March 4, 2026 statement of ongoing intent, combined with the March 20, 2026 Workshop launch, establishes that the game was actively receiving substantial additions as recently as six months ago. The silence since March 20, 2026 is at the outer edge of what's typical for a small indie studio following a significant feature release, and the developer has not made any statement indicating development has concluded. The only DLC listed is the soundtrack, which shipped at launch — no new paid content has been announced.

About this game

WORK. DIE. REPEAT.

Take a contract → choose how to handle encounters → salvage & recycle → refit your fleet → return, settle the bill, and head out again for bigger risks and bigger rewards.

This isn’t a lone ship run—it’s fleet deployment and tactical decision-making. Let the AI handle routine combat, or take manual control to focus fire and reposition for an edge:

  • Formation & positioning shape your damage coverage and survival

  • Target focus changes the pace of fights

  • Fight when you must—retreat when you should (getting home is part of winning)

Roguelite resource strategy: salvage, rebuild, repeat

Every sortie is a gamble. Routes, battles, and encounters come with different rewards and costs. Winning isn’t enough—you must manage expenses, attrition, and salvage value, because what you bring back is how you grow stronger.

  • Module builds: swap better modules on the spot—power spikes you can feel immediately

  • Route gambling: safer paths offer stability; riskier ones can yield rarer modules and bigger payouts

  • Cut your losses: retreating is a strategy—but deductions are real, and the settlement will tell the story

Dark humor, written into the rules

The galaxy’s glory belongs to “civilization.” The mess is for field agents.

You’ll face absurd incidents, faction politics, and corporate bureaucracy—where dark humor isn’t just dialogue, it’s the system itself:

  • Sometimes you think you’ve “paused”… and it turns out you just triggered another procedure and another cost

  • Sometimes you win the battle… then watch your earnings get sliced before they reach your pocket

Here, the enemy isn’t only enemy fire. It’s also the rules.
