Evaluation
Notebook Entries Vol. 1 launched on November 11, 2022 as a complete horror anthology of 8 short stories. The developer shipped a couple of small patches in the days following launch — adding English subtitles on November 20, 2022 and fixing a few bugs — but no major new content was ever added to the game itself.
On June 29, 2023, the developer posted an announcement celebrating the game and using it as a springboard to reveal five entirely new projects under a "Bite Size Terrors" label. This was a forward-looking announcement about new games, not about additional content for Notebook Entries.
Most tellingly, on June 22, 2025, the developer posted a farewell message specifically about Notebook Entries, describing it as "a quick game I decided to make a few years back" that "helped put my foot in the right direction of experimental horror," and pointing players toward their new game "see no FEAR" as the culmination of what they learned. This message reads clearly as a send-off for Notebook Entries — the developer has moved on to new projects and considers this game a completed chapter.
There is no unreleased DLC, no roadmap, and no outstanding promises of additional content for this game. It launched as a finished product and received only minor post-launch polish before the developer shifted focus to new titles.
Evidence
Developer posted a farewell message for Notebook Entries, describing it as a stepping stone game from years ago and directing players to their new game 'see no FEAR'. Framed as a goodbye to this chapter of their work.
Subtitles and bug fixes added shortly after launch. Last substantive update to the game's content.
