O2Jam Online launched on Steam on January 17, 2023 as a free-to-play rhythm game. The game received several content updates in its first months of operation, adding batches of 7-key songs and UI improvements through April 2023. However, on November 23, 2023, the developer VALOFE published an official service closure announcement stating that servers would shut down on November 24, 2023 — less than a year after launch. The announcement confirmed closure of the shop, server termination, and a cash item refund process. The game is no longer purchasable or playable on Steam, confirming the service has ended. No subsequent developer communications have indicated a reversal or relaunch of the Steam version (a separate note about a remake/overhaul was referenced in the same closure post, but this refers to a future version on VALOFE's own platform, not a continuation of the Steam service).
