Oaken Tower

Oaken Tower is a solo-developed Early Access PvP auto battler that entered Steam Early Access on April 28, 2026. The developer, Bocary, has full-time funding from publisher Alibi Games and has been explicit since January 1, 2026 that the game will be "actively developed throughout early access, and eventually release as the full 1.0 version." Since launch, the game has received a fast and consistent stream of major updates. The Q3 update shipped on September 15, 2026 (v0.6), adding two new item packs (Fairy and Vampire), a Backpack Battles crossover encounter, 8 new unlockable perks with Steam achievements, player stats, and numerous other improvements. That same post teased a future Wind item pack, with the developer noting a new item called Air Blast was added as a preview of it. The developer has continued refining the game through patches v0.6.2 through v0.6.5, the most recent of which was posted today, September 28, 2026, with a developer note that "development on the 1.0 release is going smoothly." In the September 24, 2026 patch notes, the developer stated: "I will now slowly shift my focus more towards the 1.0 release and all the new content coming!" This confirms that substantial new content is still in development ahead of 1.0. Communication from the developer is frequent, active, and points clearly toward ongoing content additions before the game reaches its full release.
