Ocean City Racing launched on November 14, 2014 as an open-world driving game. The only notable post-launch content release was the "Redux" update on August 27, 2016, which added a new map area, new mini-games, improved graphics, and other enhancements. Since that update, there have been no further developer communications of any kind — no patches, no announcements, no roadmaps, and no statements about future content. The developer has not announced any planned DLC or future updates, and no unreleased content is listed on the store. With the last and only meaningful content drop occurring in August 2016 and nearly a decade of silence since, the game appears to have been completed and abandoned at that point.
