Evaluation

Oil Strike '75 is a free-to-play promotional game released on May 9, 2024 as an official prequel to the horror game Still Wakes the Deep. The store description frames it as a self-contained experience with a clear narrative hook ("keep playing and who knows what you'll discover!"), and there is no indication of planned post-launch content expansions or updates. The only developer communication after launch was a minor bug fix patch on June 4, 2024 addressing two achievement-related issues — no further updates have been posted since. The three DLC items listed are charity donation options (released November 5, 2025) — these are not gameplay content but rather voluntary support contributions, which do not affect the game's content completeness. The game launched as a finished promotional product and has received no substantive post-launch content development.
