Omega Strike is a metroidvania game that launched on October 4, 2017 as a complete, self-contained experience. It received one post-launch patch (version 1.0.1 on October 10, 2017) adding a quality-of-life map feature, but no expansions or additional content were ever released or announced. On August 8, 2024, the developer Woblyware posted a farewell notice stating that the studio is closing down and that all of their games — including Omega Strike — would be removed from Steam and other storefronts. The game is now confirmed as no longer purchasable on Steam, consistent with that announcement. There is no further content planned, no outstanding promises, and the studio has ceased operations.
