ONE BTN BOSSES launched on August 6, 2024 as a complete, self-contained game featuring a 4-hour handcrafted campaign and a roguelike mode. The only DLC listed is a soundtrack pack, which was released alongside the game on launch day — there are no unreleased DLC items.
After launch, the developer released a handful of patches addressing balancing, quality-of-life improvements, and bug fixes, and achieved Steam Deck Verification in October 2024. A post from October 26, 2024 mentioned plans to bring the game to additional platforms, but no new game content was promised. That post is the last developer communication on record.
No roadmap, future content announcements, or additional DLC have been communicated since launch. The developer's post-launch activity has been purely maintenance-oriented, and the game shows no signs of an ongoing content cycle. THE SHIP
You pilot a ship that orbits the BOSS automatically. PRESS the button to change the ship’s direction 🔄. But the less you change directions, the faster the ship goes. The faster you go, the faster you shoot. The faster you shoot, the faster you WIN! Make sure to WIN before the BOSS gets too angry and wipes you out!CUSTOMIZE ATTACKS
There's depth to the simple controls! You can customize the ship, mixing ATTACK and MOVEMENT upgrades to find the best builds to beat bosses.
