Evaluation
Operation: Polygon Storm launched on August 12, 2024 and has received consistent content updates since then. Four paid DLC packs shipped in the months following launch: the Deliberate Force Pack (August 12, 2024), The Train DLC (September 19, 2024), the Chernobyl DLC (October 21, 2024), and the Polar Express DLC (December 6, 2024). Alongside these, the developer released free updates including an Endless & Sandbox Mode update (September 19, 2024), a Halloween event update (October 25, 2024), and most recently the free Ironhold Base Major Update on September 13, 2025, which added a brand new map.
In April 2025, Toxic Studio announced their next game, Grand Casino Simulator — but this does not signal the end of support for Operation: Polygon Storm, as the Ironhold Base update arrived after that announcement.
All four listed DLC packs have been released. No additional DLC is currently listed on the store, and no specific future content has been announced. However, the developer shipped a significant free content update as recently as September 13, 2025, demonstrating continued active engagement with the game. The gap between September 2025 and today (June 2026) is approximately 9 months, which is longer than the typical interval between prior updates — but given the game has now received free updates even after the developer announced a new project, it is not yet clear that support has ended.
Evidence
Free Ironhold Base Major Update launched, adding a new map. This is the most recent developer communication as of the assessment date.
Polar Express DLC launched with a new map, a new boss (Iron Serpent), a new helicopter unit, new abilities, and skins.
