Evaluation
OPUS: Rocket of Whispers launched on February 8, 2018. Following launch, SIGONO released a substantial content update on June 25, 2018 that added new side quests (including a post-game mystery arc) and a director's commentary track with 16 recorded voice segments. This appears to be the last content update directed at Rocket of Whispers itself.
Since then, SIGONO's news posts on this page have focused entirely on the studio's subsequent titles — announcing and releasing OPUS: Echo of Starsong (released September 1, 2021) and teasing OPUS: Prism Peak (announced January 6, 2023). Neither of these represents new content for Rocket of Whispers.
The DLC list contains two items, both released: the original soundtrack (February 8, 2018) and an artbook with bonus world map (November 5, 2021). No unreleased DLC is listed. There are no developer statements announcing future content for this game, no roadmap, and no ongoing update cadence beyond the single post-launch content patch in 2018. The game launched and received one meaningful content addition, after which the developer moved on to new projects. Rocket of Whispers is a self-contained narrative adventure that was completed as a product as of the June 2018 update.
Evidence
A post-launch update added new side quests expanding on the game's mystery and a 16-track director's commentary. This is the last update to the game's content.
