Evaluation

Orange Cast: Prologue is a free prologue to the full game "Orange Cast," which launched on January 22, 2021. The prologue itself was released on December 24, 2020 and serves as a standalone preview of the main game's world and story. The developer's 2021 roadmap (posted February 11, 2021) outlined planned improvements to the main Orange Cast game — animations, combat overhaul, new enemies, and story content — but these communications were about the full game, not this prologue. There have been no developer posts about this prologue since early 2021, and no DLC or additional content has been announced or listed for it. As a prologue, it was designed as a complete, self-contained sample of the full game and shipped as a finished product. The most recent developer communication of any kind dates to February 11, 2021, with no activity since.
