Orbital Racer
Released Dec 2017
A unique combination of space and racing sims. Choose between fast-paced, explosive action or more realistic simulation where drifting around every corner becomes more than just a gimmick - it's a necessity. Race around distinct locations such as the rings of Saturn or orbital city on Venus.

Evaluation
Orbital Racer launched on December 14, 2017 as a complete, self-contained racing simulator with 24 tracks, 8 locations, multiple ship models, two game modes, and a career mode. Shortly after launch, the developer shipped two small patches (December 20 and 22, 2017) and one small career-mode fix on January 10, 2018 — all focused on bug fixes and minor quality-of-life additions rather than new content.
After January 2018, the developer posted no further updates to the game itself. All subsequent news posts on the game's Steam page — spanning from 2022 through 2024 — are promotional announcements for entirely unrelated games published under the same publisher umbrella (Brewpub Simulator, Beyond Sunset, Sports: Renovations, and a 2024 sale bundle). None of these posts reference any new content, patches, or development activity for Orbital Racer itself.
There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced roadmap, no season pass, and no developer statements about future content. The game launched as a finished product and received only brief post-launch maintenance before going quiet. No further content has been communicated at any point since early 2018.
Evidence
Small update fixing career mode issues. This is the last developer communication relating to Orbital Racer itself.
Store description presents Orbital Racer as a complete product with defined feature set: 24 tracks, 8 locations, 3 ship models, two game modes, and a career mode — no mention of planned future content or expansions.

About this game
In space no one can hear you drift...
Orbital Racer is a single-player racing simulator set in space. It combines the freedom of movement of 6DOF space simulators with the thrills of racing.
The game offers two distinct game modes:
ACTION
This mode is all about fast, satisfying gameplay. Just jump into the cockpit and use your speed and available powerups, including explosive missiles and mines to beat your opponents.SIMULATION
This mode puts much more emphasis on realism. All ships behave according to Newtonian laws of physics with plausible thruster forces. This makes flying much more challenging but also uniquely satisfying as you'll be sliding sideways at the limits of controls most of the time.Other main features of the game:
- fully customizable controls
- 8 distinct locations, all based on real places in our Solar System
- a total of 24 tracks
- a full, playable flight school for Simulation mode.
- 3 different ship models, each with additional 3 variants
- a challenging yet flexible AI
- custimizable races
- a compelling career mode
