Osta launched on July 29, 2026. Since then, the developer has been actively improving and expanding the game. Within just two weeks of launch, six patches were released addressing bugs, balance, and UI issues (versions 1.0.1 through 1.0.5). On August 15, 2026, the developer shipped version 1.1.0 — a substantial update adding over 50 new items including the Thompson submachine gun and its variants, along with new reference books and various fixes. A follow-up patch (1.1.1) arrived on August 17, 2026. When you find a a gun by digging it up in the woods, it is obviously rusted and may be missing parts. You need to clean up the rust, clean the wood parts and find parts to fully restore it.
