OVIVO is a minimalist platformer that launched on May 12, 2017 as a complete, self-contained experience. The developer shipped a significant Update 2.0 on November 23, 2017, which added new music tracks, a visual effect, and an artbook bundled into the existing Soundtrack DLC. That update represents the last substantive content addition to the game itself.
After that, the developer fixed an achievements bug on June 2, 2021, showing continued maintenance, but no new content was added. On October 3, 2024, the developer posted a message directly addressing OVIVO players, thanking them for their continued support and explicitly stating that rather than making a sequel to OVIVO, they chose to move forward with an entirely new game — GOST of Time — which launched on October 10, 2024. This statement makes clear that OVIVO's content development is finished and the studio has moved on.
The only DLC ever listed for OVIVO is the Soundtrack (released May 12, 2017), and there are no unreleased DLC entries. The game launched as a complete product and its one post-launch content update shipped in November 2017.

About this game
OVIVO is a minimalist 2D platformer in a black-and-white world with an unusual mechanic. The main character, named OVO, is created from these two halves of the world and has the ability to switch between them. When OVO is black on a white background, all black elements become platforms and the white space becomes the walkable area, with gravity pulling downwards. The character can swap its colors, becoming white and causing all white areas to become platforms, with black turning into space and gravity pulling upwards.
OVO travels through this metaphorical world, filled with illusions and hidden messages, overcomes various dangers, and collects mysterious symbols. These symbols help you to unravel the story of this world, but how you interpret it is entirely up to you.
