Evaluation

P3TT is a free-to-play indie puzzle game released on March 25, 2021, developed by a solo developer as a passion project inspired by Valve's Portal series. The store description explicitly states the game was "independently developed in hopes that Valve would make an official release of Portal 3" — framing it as a concept demonstration rather than a live product receiving ongoing support. After launch, the developer issued a bug fix on March 31, 2021 addressing a map issue in Level 11, then shipped one content update on April 16, 2021 adding control configuration options, faster loading, and Russian language support. There have been no developer communications of any kind since April 16, 2021. With only two posts in the game's entire history — both within the first month of release — there is no sustained post-launch update pattern. The game launched as a complete, finished puzzle experience and has shown no signs of planned or ongoing content development since that initial polish period in early 2021.
Evidence
The game was developed as a concept demonstration for a Portal-style experience, explicitly not for commercial purposes, suggesting it launched as a finished product rather than a live service.

About this game

Do you believe in time travel?
Heavily inspired by Valve's Portal and Portal 2, P3TT is an indie puzzle solving game, featuring time manipulation abilities on top of the familiar blue and orange portals.

Awakening trapped in a remote facility, you must find your way out, progressing through a series of levels as you go.
In order to complete each level, you must locate the exit and carefully examine your environment to understand what series of actions must be performed in order to open the doors and go through.

Will you manage to escape?

This game contains:

  • Single player first person puzzle solving.
  • Physics and time manipulations by passing objects and laser beams through various wormholes.
  • Cumulative challenge, starting up from what you may have already seen and acquiring new controls as you advance.
  • Fundamentals resembling Valve's Portal games, and being well familiar with them prior to playing P3TT is most highly recommended.

Disclaimer:

P3TT is not associated with Valve in any way, nor is distributed for commercial purposes.
It was independently developed in hopes that Valve would make an official release of Portal 3 based on the ideas displayed here.
