Parasite Black

Parasite Black remains in Early Access and is actively receiving major content updates on a regular cadence. The game launched on December 9, 2024 and has shipped multiple large updates, including the Act 1 Finale on July 11, 2025, version 0.175 on November 20, 2025, and version 0.189 on April 22, 2026. As of July 31, 2026, the developer posted a detailed update explaining that a beta build (Beta 2.0) is already available to players, with the full public release targeting mid-August 2026. That update includes the complete Tarbecks Part 2 storyline, Lady Tarbeck's romance route, and new travel inn locations. The developer also confirmed that the next update after that will focus on the character Regina and return players to the city of Novaras. Additionally, the developer confirmed that small content packs — described as having been in the pipeline for some time — will be launching in the coming months. These are separate from full expansions, which the developer noted are also planned for the future. The unreleased "Grim Days Manga Series" DLC remains listed on the store without a release date. Developer posts on July 15 and July 31, 2026 reiterate that this companion manga is coming soon. The studio has been transparent about delays and staffing challenges but has consistently followed through with substantial updates. Development is clearly ongoing with named future content already in progress.
