Evaluation

Pavilion launched on September 23, 2016 as "Chapter 1," with the store description explicitly stating that "Chapter 2 [is] out in 2018 as DLC." However, no Chapter 2 DLC was ever listed on the store, and the only DLC entry is the soundtrack (released on launch day). The developer's last communication was a feature patch on March 23, 2017 — a localization and bug-fix update. There have been no developer posts, roadmap updates, or DLC listings related to Chapter 2 since then, and the promised 2018 release came and went with no delivery and no explanation. Given the complete absence of developer communication since March 23, 2017, the undelivered Chapter 2 promise from 2018 that has now gone nearly eight years without any follow-up, and no unreleased DLC entries on the store, the practical reality is that Chapter 2 was never made. The studio has been silent for years, and there is no credible evidence that Chapter 2 is still in development. The game as shipped — Chapter 1 only — represents the complete content players can expect to receive.
Evidence
Last developer communication: a localization and bug-fix patch (v1.32). No mention of Chapter 2 progress.

  • Dreamy ambient tunes from space-music pioneer Tony Gerber whose music sets a beautiful atmosphere and brings a great contemplative mood to the experience of Pavilion.

  • A game in two chapters; Chapter 1 out now(this). Chapter 2 out in 2018 as dlc.

  • Featuring Eye-Tracker support for Tobii EyeX Eye-Tracker – With the power of simple gaze interaction you move around, observe and interact with the puzzling world and the unknown hero in order to guide him towards his impending fate.

Extending the already omnipresence aesthetic the Eye-Tracking adds to the fourth-person sentiment both on a narrative level and through the indirect gameplay itself.
