PC Tycoon 2 launched on March 28, 2024 and received several patches in its early weeks, followed by a feature update (version 1.2.10) on August 1, 2024 that added distribution improvements and new language support. That August 2024 update was the last communication from the developer about this game.
Critically, on February 19, 2025, the developer posted a [development_status] announcement explicitly stating that they are moving on to a new game, Games Tycoon, and that PC Tycoon 2's "short support time was caused by ineffective project structure and very long development time of the mobile version." The developer directly acknowledged that support for PC Tycoon 2 (and its follow-up Mobiles Tycoon) was limited, and stated their intention to support the new game much longer. This is a clear signal that active development and support for PC Tycoon 2 has concluded.
There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content, and no ongoing update cadence — the game shipped as a self-contained product and the developer has since redirected their efforts to a new project.
