Evaluation

People of Note launched on April 7, 2026 as a complete turn-based RPG. Since launch, Iridium Studios has issued a hotfix on April 14, 2026 and two patches on April 30 and May 18, 2026, all focused on bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. The only DLC listed on the store is the soundtrack, which was released on launch day alongside the game. No expansions, additional content packs, or future content have been announced at any point. The developer's post-launch communications have been warm and community-focused but contain no mention of planned content additions. The game is now more than six months past its April 7, 2026 release, and the developer has maintained complete silence on any future content since the May 18, 2026 patch. With no announced content, no unreleased DLC, and no post-launch update pattern suggesting further content releases, People of Note appears to have launched as a finished product.

About this game

In this bold turn-based RPG, where musical numbers meet thrilling combat, join pop singer Cadence on her quest for stardom.

After being shut out of the Noteworthy Song Contest, Cadence realizes that her solo act might not be enough for the judges. As she travels across Note to the Rock City of Durandis, the EDM City of Lumina, and more, Cadence fills out her band with eclectic and powerful musicians from lands afar. But something's brewing in the distance...the Harmonic Convergence is playing havoc with the world's musical energies, and dark forces are working behind the scenes to disrupt Note's natural harmonies. It wasn't in the set list, but Cadence and the others need to step up and make sure music itself still has a future on stage.
