Photo Studio Simulator launched on August 14, 2025 and has been actively developed ever since. The developer shipped a major content update on December 19, 2025 adding a main storyline, a villa scene, new systems, and significant gameplay overhauls. On January 30, 2026, two paid DLCs were released simultaneously — a Camera DLC adding three professional cameras and a Clothing DLC with 19 themed costumes and 3 hairstyles. Beyond the major content drops, the developer has maintained a consistent cadence of feature patches addressing gameplay systems, graphics settings, and bug fixes, with the most recent update posted on April 20, 2026. Additionally, a Creative Workshop launched in September 2025, with the developer explicitly stating plans to continue adding features such as diverse backgrounds, poses, expressions, and themed props. Both paid DLCs are now released, and no additional DLC has been announced. However, the developer's stated Creative Workshop expansion plans and the active patch cadence — stretching from launch in August 2025 through at least April 2026 — indicate the game is still receiving ongoing substantial development attention. The developer has not indicated that development is complete.
