Pieces of my Heart

Pieces of my Heart launched out of Early Access on December 21, 2020. During its development and shortly after launch, Kinky Fridays followed a published roadmap and shipped four major content updates: the "Double Trouble" content pack on December 5, 2020 (adding two new dateable characters), the 1.0 launch update on December 21, 2020 (adding another character and tutorial system), the "Conversation Update" on April 26, 2021 (adding full voiced conversation trees for all dates), and a localization follow-up patch on May 3, 2021. The roadmap published in September 2020 outlined content packages up through v1.9.0, but those planned packages appear to have been consolidated or completed within the updates that shipped — the game's post-launch updates addressed all of the core content areas the roadmap described. The last developer communication directed at Pieces of my Heart was the v1.7.1 patch on May 3, 2021. Since then, the studio (Kinky Fridays) has moved on to developing and releasing other titles, most recently launching Sapphire Safari into Early Access in March 2025. There have been no further announcements, updates, or roadmap posts for Pieces of my Heart since May 3, 2021 — a span of over four years. The only DLC listed on the store is the soundtrack, which released on January 5, 2021, and there are no unreleased DLC entries. The store description does not reference any planned content or ongoing updates. All of this points to the game having reached the end of its content development cycle with the May 2021 patch.
