Pirates: Golden tits: Chapter 1

Pirates: Golden Tits: Chapter 1 officially left Early Access on November 7, 2024, when HotBunny published a developer status post announcing the 1.0 release alongside machine translations and bug fixes. In that same post, the developer explicitly stated that work on a sequel or further "Pirates" universe games cannot continue because part of the team is on an indefinite pause — but also expressed hope to resume once all team members return. This marked the end of content development for Chapter 1 itself. A July 7, 2025 bug-fix post acknowledged the team was still waiting for their artist before continuing work on a "next part of the game." At the time of the previous evaluation (June 23, 2026), there had been nearly 12 months of silence after that post, and the situation remained unresolved for any potential sequel. However, since that prior evaluation, publisher Tap-Tap Legends has posted multiple times on this game's Steam page — announcing and releasing other games in their catalog (July 7, 2026; August 4, 2026; August 21, 2026). These posts are promotions for unrelated titles, not updates to Chapter 1 itself, but they confirm the publisher remains active. Crucially, none of these posts mention any continuation of the Pirates series or new content for Chapter 1. Chapter 1 itself is content-complete as of its 1.0 release on November 7, 2024. All listed DLC has been released. The developer has not announced any further content for this specific title, and the previous concern about a sequel or continuation does not affect the completeness of Chapter 1 as a standalone product. The publisher's continued activity through August 2026 further reduces concern about an unresolved distress situation — the studio is operating and releasing other games, and has simply not returned to the Pirates universe.
