Pixel Fixel

Pixel Fixel launched on March 1, 2024 as a free-to-play casual puzzle game. Over the following months, Blue Pin Studio actively updated it — shipping daily puzzles, new soundscapes, a complete color generation overhaul, and the Remixel Edition DLC (June 23, 2024), which added 60 new levels, new game modes, themes, and other premium content. The developer explicitly stated at the time of the DLC launch that it would be the only DLC and that all future content would go into either the base game or the DLC. On April 15, 2025, the developer posted a "Final Update!" announcement, thanking the community and stating that Pixel Fixel's development was complete, with only potential bug fixes for OS/platform compatibility remaining. However, development continued a bit longer: on November 14, 2025, the developer shipped one more update — humorously titled "Final Final Update(1) Final Version!" — adding a new Spotter game mode for Remixel owners and minor fixes. That post is the most recent communication from the developer and reaffirms the game is complete. With two explicit developer statements declaring the game finished, the last of which was on November 14, 2025, and no unreleased DLC or announced future content, Pixel Fixel is a complete product.
