Evaluation
Pixel Puzzles Illustrations & Anime is a free-to-play digital jigsaw game that launched on February 23, 2021 and has been continuously expanding ever since. The developer has now shipped 42 DLC puzzle packs, with new themed packs arriving at a steady pace every few months throughout 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and into 2026.
The two most recent packs — Graffiti (released June 16, 2026) and Flash Collection (released July 14, 2026) — shipped just weeks ago. Prior to those, Van Gogh launched June 12, 2025, Thai Paintings on July 27, 2025, Claude Monet on May 20, 2026. This is a well-established, ongoing pattern of regular content additions.
The developer also shipped a major version 2.0 update on December 29, 2025 that added 26 new languages, overhauled the UI, and explicitly stated "there is more to come." A bug-fix patch followed on May 13, 2026, showing active maintenance alongside new content releases.
All signals point to a game that is designed to grow through new themed puzzle packs indefinitely, with no indication from the developer that they plan to stop.
