Evaluation

Pixel Puzzles Traditional Jigsaw Puzzles has been in continuous, active development since its launch on November 18, 2019. The game has now accumulated 55 released DLC puzzle packs, with a particularly prolific run of new releases throughout 2025 and into 2026 at a pace of roughly one new pack every 4–8 weeks. On January 1, 2026, the developer shipped a major engine update (version 2.0.0.178) that overhauled the game's backend, added seven new languages, introduced 1440p/4K resolution support, and added new music tracks. In that post, the developer explicitly stated: "There is more to come, this update fixes a lot of back end issues and makes the game easier to manage and update/improve going forward." Since then, the developer has continued shipping content at a high pace: Variety Pack 13 (January 16, 2026), Landscapes 2 (February 11, 2026), Variety Pack 14 (June 9, 2026), and most recently the Flash Collection (August 5, 2026) — just two weeks before today. Feature patches and bug fixes have also continued throughout 2026, including a May 2026 update adding new controls and fixing puzzle assets. No end to development has been announced. The developer's own statement of ongoing intent, combined with an unbroken, high-frequency release pattern right up to the present, makes clear that this game is in sustained active development with more content expected.
