Plant Therapy

Plant Therapy launched as a free-to-play casual game on September 21, 2023, and Short Leg Studio has maintained a highly active development cadence ever since. The studio has shipped major content on a roughly quarterly basis: paid DLC expansions (Coney Island Plus in September 2024, Tropical Dreams in March 2025, Park Place in September 2025) alongside free seasonal updates (Fall Update in September 2025, Winter Update in December 2025, Spring Update in March 2026, and Summer Update in June 2026). The Summer Update, which arrived on June 18, 2026, added plushie hats and quality-of-life features. As recently as August 13, 2026, the developer posted a bug fix patch — the most recent official communication — demonstrating continued active engagement with the game. The studio also announced a new game (Plush Rangers) in May 2025 but explicitly noted in the March 2026 Spring Update post that they wanted to get content out to Plant Therapy players while working on new projects, indicating ongoing commitment to this title. All 10 currently listed DLCs have been released, but the consistent pattern of seasonal updates and new paid content arriving multiple times per year shows no signs of stopping.
