Plastic soldiers

Plastic Soldiers entered Steam Early Access on November 16, 2018 and has remained there ever since. In the weeks following launch, the developer was relatively active — shipping new maps, adding features like a minimap and graphics settings, and posting about plans for bots, zombie mode, private servers, and additional maps. A January 2019 post confirmed the team intended to continue fixing bugs and improving the game. However, activity dropped off sharply after that, with only a single feature patch appearing on November 17, 2021 (reworking lighting, networking, shooting mechanics, character models, and the HUD). That post is the last known communication from the developer. No 1.0 launch target has ever been communicated, no roadmap to full release exists, and there has been no developer activity since November 17, 2021 — a gap of over four years. The game remains purchasable in Early Access with no sign of whether development is continuing or has been abandoned.
