Evaluation
Please, Touch The Artwork launched on January 26, 2022 as a complete, self-contained puzzle game featuring 160 paintings across three mini-games. The developer then released a free sequel, Please, Touch The Artwork 2 (based on the works of James Ensor), which was announced and promoted in early 2024.
Most significantly, the developer has explicitly confirmed — in posts on June 6 and June 7, 2025 — that a third entry in the series, "Please, Touch The Artwork 3," is actively in development. The developer stated clearly: "NO WORRIES: 'Please, Touch The Artwork 3' is also in the making!" This was reiterated in an August 12, 2025 announcement, which again referenced the developer's intention to continue work on the third game after completing a spin-off project ("Please, Watch The Artwork"). While the spin-off is a separate title, the developer's repeated, direct confirmation that a third mainline entry is being made constitutes a clear statement of planned content for this series.
The game itself is complete and fully playable, but the developer is actively building upon the series with a third numbered installment confirmed to be in production.
Evidence
Developer references continuing the journey on 'Please, Touch The Artwork 3' after completing the spin-off, confirming ongoing development plans.
Follow-up post reaffirms: 'Please, Touch The Artwork 3 is also in the making! I just wanted to do something different in between projects.'

About this game

Part of the fun in this game is finding out what the rules of the puzzle are. But there are always hints to help you progress! In essence it's just a calm casual puzzle game where you play with art without shame or punishment.
It answers the question: What if you DID touch the artwork?
There are 160 paintings to touch (3~4 hours of gameplay) spread over 3 unique games,
The 1st game tells the origin story of pure abstract art. It’s a challenging puzzle where you’ll add colors and lines to a canvas to recreate abstract paintings.
In the 2nd game you’ll move to a big city, only to be overwhelmed with mixed emotions. You'll be exploring the maze of New York City while collecting words from a poem.
In the 3rd game you’ll help Boogie & Woogie, 2 squares who just want to be together, by figuring out how obstacles influence Woogie’s path, in a complex growing society.
