POHMIELISKO

POHMIELISKO

Early access since Oct 2025

A grotesque retro-style FPP horror set in a typical Polish apartment block from the 90s. A pixelated shader blends with Lumen’s realistic lighting to create a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Absurd humor intertwines with macabre moments and choices you’d never want to make.

Evaluation

POHMIELISKO entered Early Access on October 6, 2025 and has been receiving consistent, substantive updates since launch. The developer has been building the game out chapter by chapter: v0.2 on November 3, 2025 added new locations and extended the story; v0.5 on March 13, 2026 added a new map and new storyline content; v0.6 on April 28, 2026 added Chapter IV: School; and most recently, v0.7 on June 17, 2026 added Chapter V: Pub. In between, the developer has also shipped hotfixes and smaller patches. This pattern — roughly one content-adding update every one to two months — shows the game is actively being developed chapter by chapter. The version numbering (currently at 0.7) and the ongoing chapter additions strongly indicate the game is still in active development, well short of a completed 1.0 release. No completion date or final content announcement has been made.

About this game

Feel the nostalgia!

Step inside a typical Polish apartment block from the 90s. Behind the thin walls lurks more than just neighbors with power drills. This is a place where absurdity collides with horror, and everyday life turns into a nightmare laced with dark humor.

The game blends a retro pixel-art style with Lumen’s realistic lighting, creating a visual effect that feels both familiar and deeply unsettling.

Laugh, shiver, and question your own choices — because here, the line between comedy and tragedy barely exists.
