Polyville Canyon launched on May 20, 2021 and received a healthy run of post-launch updates. The developer shipped several feature patches in the months following launch — Sandbox Mode (June 5, 2021), the Quick Roads system (August 27, 2021), and Neighbor Scenes (September 23, 2021) — before releasing the game's one and only major named update, the Snow Lake expansion, on May 20, 2022, timed to the game's one-year anniversary. That update added a fourth map, over a dozen new items, five new Neighbors, a higher level cap, new achievements, and new story objectives. A minor keyboard control patch (v1.2.5) followed on June 5, 2022. Since June 2022, there have been no further developer communications, patches, or announcements of any kind. The sole DLC on the store — a soundtrack pack — was released on December 9, 2021 and is the only DLC listed; no unreleased DLC exists. The developer has not announced any future content, roadmap, or plans for additional updates. With no outstanding commitments, no developer communications since June 5, 2022, and a single major content release that appears to mark the natural conclusion of the game's post-launch support, Polyville Canyon reads as a complete, finished product. The Snow Lake update is the most reasonable endpoint for the game's content development.

Polyville Canyon is a city builder that forgoes many 'standard' city builder mechanics and lets you focus on building an aesthetically pleasing town without having to worry about electricity, sewage, traffic, taxes, city ordinances, or other 'micro-management' tasks. Just get out there and build however you want and the Neighbors will be happy!

They say they're being asked to build an entire city out in the Canyons, and they desperately need some help. They thought that since you're the only one they know that has a mouse and keyboard, it would be much easier for you to do the work. If you agree, you will earn a share of every Train Ticket sold to visitors and residents, either coming or going!
Of course you agree because that is A LOT of money, and you immediately pack up your stuff and head to the station! The construction Foreman, Sam, is waiting for you there to get started right away!
