President Erect VR launched on December 20, 2016 as a free-to-play VR novelty game. The developer posted a content update announcement on June 8, 2017 mentioning plans for a multiplayer and party/group mode, and followed up the next day on June 9, 2017 with the update going live — adding a revamped Oval Office, new audio, a timed single-player mode, a practice mode, and leaderboard support. That June 9, 2017 post is the last communication from the developer on record. The mention of a future multiplayer mode in the June 8 announcement was almost certainly aspirational and was not reaffirmed after the update shipped. No roadmap, DLC listings, or subsequent developer posts exist to support treating that offhand comment as an active commitment. With no developer communication since June 9, 2017 — nearly nine years ago as of today — and no unreleased content on the store, the game is best understood as a small, complete novelty title that received one post-launch update and has seen no further development activity since.
