Evaluation
Prime Horror II launched on November 4, 2022 as a free-to-play comedic 4v1 horror game made by a small indie team (one college student and a few friends). The developer posted a patch shortly after launch on November 7, 2022 addressing early bugs and quality-of-life issues.
In April 2023, the developer published a candid update on the game's direction, announcing plans for a free content expansion featuring a new enemy type and 1-2 new maps, as well as a story mode further down the line. However, the November 2023 anniversary update — the most recent developer communication, posted on November 28, 2023 — delivered the content that was teased in that April post: a new playable enemy type (a parody of a tech billionaire) and a new space station/Mars-themed map, along with proximity chat, emotes, and bug fixes. This strongly suggests the promised expansion was fulfilled by this update.
Importantly, in the November 2023 post the developer explicitly said they did not want to tease future plans or make promises they might not be able to keep, given the team's small size. No further content has been announced, no unreleased DLC is listed on the store, and there have been no developer communications since November 28, 2023. The game appears to have reached its content completion with the anniversary update, which delivered on the previously announced plans. The earlier mention of a "story mode" remains unfulfilled, but the developer explicitly walked back future commitments in the same November 2023 post and there has been no mention of it since.
Evidence
Anniversary update delivered a new enemy type, new map, proximity chat, emotes, and bug fixes — matching the content teased in the April 2023 post. Developer explicitly declined to tease future plans, citing the team's small size and not wanting to make promises they can't keep.
Developer announced plans for a free content expansion (new enemy, 1-2 maps) and a future story mode, while noting the game serves as a learning project for the small team.

About this game
Prime Horror II is a multiplayer 8-page-style horror game with a comedic twist. In this 4v1 player-versus-player experience, you can play on either side of the warehouse.
Play as the nefarious Joe Bozo, whose sole purpose is to hunt down every last worker before they escape. Or team up with your friends and use your wits, a trusty flashlight, and a healthy disregard for each other's safety to make it out alive.
Survive by collecting every package, our take on the classic eight-page objective, or gather matches and burn all of Joe Bozo's cult totems to extinguish him once and for all.
Break some ankles and teabag your way to victory. Do whatever it takes to survive.
