Pro Cycling Manager 2016 launched on June 16, 2016 as a complete, standalone sports management title — a yearly installment in an annual series. Following launch, Cyanide Studio issued a series of patches through late 2017, addressing bugs, stability issues, and making incremental feature additions (such as the Stage Editor in July 2016 and an offline mode in September 2017). The final recorded update, version 1.10.1.0, was posted on September 28, 2017. No DLC was ever offered or announced for this edition. In April 2017, the developer announced Pro Cycling Manager 2017 as the next entry in the series, signaling that active development attention had shifted to the successor title. There have been no developer communications about PCM 2016 since September 28, 2017. Given the annual release model, the absence of any DLC or post-launch content roadmap, the launch of a successor title, and nearly nine years of silence since the last patch, this game is complete.

Become the sports manager of a professional cycling team and take part in a great 2016 season packed with new features that will let you travel the world in over 200 cycling events (550 stages) including the famous Tour de France 2016 and La Vuelta.
As the manager, it's up to you to coordinate every aspect of a team's life: recruiting, negotiating contracts with cyclists and sponsors, managing staff, training and handling the race calendar… your role will also be critical during the races themselves since you will need to make real time key decisions during the different stages. Play solo or challenge managers from all over the world in an entirely redesigned online multiplayer mode.
