Project Liminal Redux

Project Liminal Redux launched on March 23, 2023 and received a series of patches through the end of that year. The 2.0 update on June 12, 2023 added a new location and improved the enemy. The 2.1 update on July 9, 2023 fixed various bugs and trimmed some content. The 3.0 update on December 16, 2023 added a new "Aesthetic Mode," new achievements, and various quality-of-life fixes — and it serves as the last recorded developer communication. Notably, the June 2023 post mentioned a sequel ("Project Liminal 2 will be released in the future"), but the December 2023 post supersedes this by announcing that the developer has moved on to an entirely new game called "Inner Darkness," which is already in active development with its own Steam page. This strongly suggests the studio's attention has shifted away from Project Liminal Redux. No further updates have been posted since December 16, 2023, and no DLC, roadmap, or future content for this game has been announced. The game appears to have launched as a self-contained experience and received iterative post-launch polish before the developer moved on to their next project.
