PROJEKT GODHAND officially launched out of Early Access on February 28, 2026, shipping with over 50 base songs and the first act of its story mode ("paradiso"). Since then, the developer has remained very active. On May 24, 2026, the developer formally announced Act 2 of the story, titled "purgatorio," for an August 2026 release — 12 new songs and a "GODHAND 2.0" update accompanying it. This DLC is listed on the Steam store as unreleased. As of today (August 19, 2026), that release has not yet appeared in the news posts, meaning it is still pending or just around the corner. Experience the thrill of egregiously cheating at an extremely hard 8 button rhythm game! Worried about hitting the right button? Any key on the same half of your keyboard will do. Unbelievably fast streams? Just hit them as chords, it's fine. GODHAND takes care of all that pesky "thinking" so you can concentrate on the important stuff: rapidly smashing your keyboard like a crazed gorilla.

But of course, there have to be limits to such overpowered abilities. Too many inputs will fill up the heat gauge, which *checks notes* vastly increases your score...? Who came up with this??

Well, whoever it is... they've packed it to the brim with over 50 songs of base content. That's right: somehow, none of the stuff in this graphic is DLC. It's probably got at least one VTuber you like. Collabs with with vivid/stasis, Rotaeno, UNBEATABLE, WACCA, and ADOFAI. And we're literally just getting started...
