Proverbs

Proverbs launched on November 7, 2024 as a complete, self-contained puzzle game — a single enormous 54,000+ piece grid puzzle inspired by Bruegel the Elder's 1559 painting "Netherlandish Proverbs." The store description describes the game as a finished product with no mention of future content, DLC, or ongoing development plans for this title specifically. Since launch, the developer (Mark Ffrench / Divide the Plunder) has been actively maintaining the game with bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements through November 2025, but none of these constitute new content — they are polish and maintenance updates. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap, and no developer statements promising additional content for Proverbs itself. The developer's attention has clearly shifted toward sequels in the Mega Mosaic series. An October 2025 news post announced the demo for "Mosaic of the Strange" (a separate game launching November 7, 2025), and a March 2025 post announced "Mosaic of the Pharaohs" (another separate game). A December 2024 post announced a free spin-off titled "2024: Mosaic Retrospective." These are all distinct games, not expansions or DLC for Proverbs. Proverbs launched as a complete puzzle experience and has received no post-launch content additions — only bug fixes and maintenance patches. The game is done as a content product, consistent with its design as a single, finite puzzle.
